On the Red Carpet

Stevie Noordin

The disappearance of the landowner,
One I could never understand,
The immortal poets of Asia.
Just give him a serum;
Do not trust yourself to stand;
The only folks who will kill,
Each man determine to do his duty.
I demand that you show yourself!
Until again the forces of evil and cold,
The tendency of what we call material progress,
And above all, to our children,
We create our own reality.

The theorists of minority domination,
This is where I’d tell you to suck it,
They always kneel down.
Oh, it makes me crazy;
Make of our lives one life;
A continuous shrill cacophony,
You know these bad men by sight.
It’s all just a big conspiracy!
I want you to be honest with me,
Don’t try to sweet-talk us,
Sometimes one must break the rules,
Be not hurried away by excitement.
