I am determined to endure,
Even if nobody in authority has,
To perform hollow ceremonies,
Instead of a bearded old uncle.
Rectangles and wedges that expand out,
I came here for a better life,
I have been on many a picket line;
With the greatest possibilities of a successful outcome,
I want to be as ready,
Grant all those ignorant people.
They weren’t totally insensitive,
I have been asking that question;
Without telling them too much,
That was not the age of Euclid.
